Knowledge sharing in a confidential environment

Family business students engage in meaningful small group discussions called mentoring circles. Mentoring Circles are guided by alumni and veteran family business leaders who willingly share their knowledge and experience to enrich the education of family business students. All Kellogg students from a family enterprise are encouraged to participate.

Groups are limited to 3 students per mentor, so that all participants have the opportunity to discuss, contribute, and learn. Groups are sorted by topical interests and meet at least 3 times over the course of the quarter as part of the academic experience

Executives in Residence program

Family leaders, non-family executives and family business experts who serve as informal advisors and thought partners to the John L. Ward Center for Family Enterprises.
