The Kellogg Miami campus

Our sunny Miami campus in Coral Gables is home to one of our Executive MBA Programs. It also hosts our yearly Global Leaders Symposium. This year’s symposium, in February, will feature conversations with venture capitalist Leland Pillsbury ’82 MBA and investor Daniel Gamba ’97 MBA, as well as fascinating panels on fintech and healthcare.

Sony Music Entertainment

Miami loves music, especially bangers and ballads by Latin musicians. At Sony Music Entertainment — home to global superstars such as Maluma and Shakira — Caitlin Marino ’23 MBA serves as director of A&R for the Latin-Iberia region. Latin music is the fastest-growing music genre in the U.S., and Marino is searching for its next big stars.

NHL’s Florida Panthers

When Matt Caldwell ’10 JD, MBA became CEO of the Florida Panthers more than a decade ago, the team was struggling. But Caldwell, alongside chief strategy officer Mark Zarthar ’14 MBA, had visions of the Panthers becoming a “destination franchise.” That dream came true, and the Panthers won the 2024 Stanley Cup. “I’m still in disbelief,” Caldwell says. Follow the team’s journey in this issue’s feature “Giving claws to Panthers.”

imPASTA! Foods

Donya Litowitz ’15 MBA, CEO and co-founder of imPASTA! Foods, wanted to create a wholesome food product, ready to eat quickly, without preservatives. Her CPG startup uses spaghetti squash instead of carb-heavy noodles to make “pasta,” fitting perfectly into the goals of fitness fans. imPASTA! Foods also focuses on sustainability, using vegetables with cosmetic imperfections that would keep them off grocery store shelves.

SH Hotels and Resorts

The focus of SH Hotels and Resorts is sustainability but also giving guests more. The luxury hotel and hospitality company — where Sara Sullivan ’03 MBA serves as chief financial officer — has a goal that guests will leave with more than they came with, whether it’s more restoration, a new wellness routine or a plan to live more sustainability.
